Summary: Even when you're not in the land down under, the places near it can be just as daunting. And nowhere has this right more than Tasmania. Sure, it's actually a pretty alright spot to go, but chances are you thought of those biting marsupials living there. Just know that there are worse things that could be there...

History: One day, a bunch of reckless youths jumped into the parts of Tasmania that no one dares go. And they have every reason to not be here. Sleeping the day away is a pack of giant Tasmanian devils, looking to tear apart anyone and anything they see. Sure enough, the people here are in serious trouble of getting eaten, and the fight for survival against the marsupials begins.

Notable Kills: Brutally tear someone off a stone slab they impaled themselves on.

Final Fate: After just about everyone is dead, only one devil and two people remain. The humans ultimately survive when they use a makeshift parachute off a cliff, while the beast just falls to its death. Seemingly, there are no more accursed giant Tasmanian devils around anymore.

Powers/Abilities: Everything they eat makes them grow a bit, even in the moment.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though their bloodlust will often make them kill each other.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Part of the reason we didn't rank them higher is that they don't even look like the marsupials they're supposed to be. If anything, they resemble a hybrid of bear and badger. And while that sounds terrifying, it's not so much in execution. The devils are just too poorly rendered to register as too much of a threat. They are quite violent, though.

Trivia: -While Tasmanian devils are infamous for being hyper aggressive and eating everything they can catch, they aren't exactly the mindless killing machines you think of them as. They're no bigger than racoons, and they never eat living people. Sure, they'll scavenge off corpses, but they can actually be subdued with a firm grip, and in a way, they are rather cute. Just don't take one as a pet. They're not all that social, and they can produce a nasty smell.

-Deadly marsupials were indeed a thing when early man settled in the Aboriginal lands. Examples include Thylacoleo carnifex, or the marsupial lion, and the more recently extinct Thylacine, better known as the Tasmanian wolf/tiger. The latter was a notorious pain for farmers, and was hunted to extinction. Thylacoleo's cause of death was more ambiguous, though it could have something to do with the destruction of its environment or prey.

We can't stop here! THis is Devil Country!
The true terror...YOU FORGOT PARASHUTES!

Either way, this can only end in tears for both.
Kinda understated the amount of chompers there.
